NoD / Roxy Gallery on Dlouhá street in Prague’s Old Town presents forty-three year old painter and sculptor Petr Písařík’s new paintings and sculptures under the exhibition title Real. The exhibition will be on display until the fourth of December. Petr Písařík combines nonconformity with perfect technical solutions and simple yet concise expressions with a feeling for dazzling decor. The artist’s paintings are characterized by structures created with glass beads and other materials. Meanwhile his motifs range from cubist abstract compositions to meditative white landscapes and floral still lifes. His objects and sculptures are assembled from a diverse array of materials and found objects.
The artist enjoys creating installations for a specific space and this is also the case for Real at the NoD Gallery.
