Petr Písařík:Miss Partitura
The exhibition Liběna Rochová: The Stories of Dolls wascreated in support of the Adopt a Dolland Save a Child Project, in development since 2002 by Czech UNICEF. Eachdoll represents a real child who will be vaccinated against six deadly diseases(measles, diphtheria, whooping cough, tetanus, tuberculosis and polio) as partof the UNICEF vaccination programmes in the world’s poorest countries. Thedolls are created by volunteers all over the Czech Republic according to auniform pattern. In addition, leading Czech artists are also participating.Petr Písařík’s doll is called Miss Partitura and is a combination of dollelements, its name and space into a single work with many meanings and anauditory component. The doll was auctioned off in 2015 and saved 91 children.
